Abstract:
A method for forming an aluminum alloy sheet part, comprising: i) heating an aluminum alloy sheet material to a solution temperature window range for solution treatment; ii) transferring the solid-dissolved aluminum alloy sheet material to a mold; iii) closing the mold, wherein the forming process of a compound mold lasts for 0.5 s or more; and iv) cooling the mold to cool a formed part. The forming method is particularly suitable for forming parts with complex shapes and does not require continuous annealing treatment, thereby saving the material cost. Moreover, the formability of the material in high temperature is increased in multiple, the resilient modulus is low, subsequent part forming processes are reduced, and raw material loss is reduced.
