Abstract:
A method for forming a black barrier layer of a plasma display panel by etching and a composition for the same are provided. The method comprises the following steps: forming a white barrier layer on the back substrate of the plasma display panel, applying the black barrier layer on the white barrier layer, co-sintering the black barrier layer and the white barrier layer, and forming the barrier structure by etching. The black barrier layer is made from the composition comprising glass powder, black pigment and organic vehicle. The blackness value and bright field contrast of the plasma display panel are improved.
