Abstract:
A method of forming a can body furnished on its outer or inner surface with ribs,
comprising providing a press metal mold with a female die with approximately
circular section, forming multiple grooves on the inner circumferential surface
of the female die or the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical punch,
disposing pellets on the bottom of the female die, and pressing the punch within
the female die so as to apply pressure on the pellets.
