Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for forming a coating film wherein a coating film is formed on a metal base by a multistage energizing method with two or more stages using an electrodeposition bath containing an aqueous coating film-forming agent. The aqueous coating film-forming agent contains a zirconium compound, while containing, as a base resin, an amino group-containing modified epoxy resin which is obtained by reacting an amino group-containing compound with an epoxy resin obtained by reacting a diepoxy amide compound, a bisphenol epoxy resin and a bisphenol. This method can provides a coated article having excellent corrosion resistance.
