Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for forming a photo-alignment film capable of more reliably aligning a liquid crystalline compound and a method for manufacturing a laminate in which a liquid crystalline compound is more reliably aligned. A polarizer unit (72) polarizes light emitted from a plurality of light sources (71). The polarized light generated has an illuminance distribution that is within 10% relative to an average value. A photo-alignment film (13) is formed by irradiating a photoisomerization film (68) with this polarized light. The photoisomerization film (68) contains a photoisomerization compound. An optical film (14) containing a liquid crystal polymer (21) is formed on the photo-alignment film (13) formed.
