Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention are related to a method for removing echo, and an electronic device thereof, wherein the electronic device comprises a housing; a communication module; a first speaker which is disposed in a first region of the housing; a second speaker which is disposed in a second region of the housing; a first microphone which is disposed close to the first region; a second microphone which is disposed close to the second region; and a processor, wherein the processor can be set to receive a first audio signal from an external electronic device, using the communication module, to output a first designated frequency band of the frequency bands of the first audio signal using the first speaker, to output a second designated frequency band of the frequency bands of the first audio signal using the second speaker, to generate a first signal to which a filter capable of passing a band corresponding to the second designated frequency band is applied with respect to an external audio signal of the electronic device obtained using the first microphone, to generate a second signal to which a filter capable of passing a band corresponding to the first designated frequency band is applied with respect to the external audio signal of the electronic device obtained using the second microphone, to generate a second audio signal corresponding to the external audio signal, using the first signal and the second signal, and to transmit the second audio signal to the external electronic device, using the communication module. Various embodiments are also possible.
