Abstract:

Disclosed in the present application are a method for generating a forwarding table entry and a network device, the method comprising: a controller sending a plurality of resource allocation request messages to a plurality of network devices in a network slice so as to trigger the plurality of network devices to allocate resources according to corresponding resource allocation request messages, the resource allocation request messages comprising an identifier of a network slice and a resource which a corresponding network device must allocate for the network slice; the controller receiving a plurality of resource allocation response messages, the resource allocation response messages comprising the identifier of the network slice and a segment identifier of the corresponding network device, wherein each resource that is allocated by the devices belongs to the network slice; according to the resource allocation response messages, the controller generating a forwarding table that corresponds to the network slice, the forwarding table comprising a forwarding table entry that arrives at a network device of the network slice, and the forwarding table entry comprising a segment identifier that arrives at a destination network device. By means of the forwarding table entry, a network slice resource isolation-based flexible manner of forwarding messages may be provided for a user.
