Title:
METHOD FOR GENERATING QUASI-NUMBER STATE LIGHT OF CONTINUOUS WAVE FORM IN MICROMASER/LASER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/027704
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a microlaser for implementing a quantum light source having a nonclassical narrow photon number distribution, which is necessary in quantum information processing technology. The present invention provides a technical implementation method capable of generating nonclassical light close to a number state in a microlaser cavity of a continuous wave form by controlling a mean atom speed of a driving atomic beam with an optical current flowing through a photo-detector circuit for detecting light outputted from the cavity as a feedback signal, wherein the light outputted from the cavity is a quantum light source clearly exhibiting a photonic gap.
