Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of information, and provides a method for generating a signature, an electronic device, and a storage medium. According to the present application, an aggregated signature is generated by means of sub-signatures of a plurality of signature parties, and an aggregated public key is generated on the basis of public keys of the plurality of signature parties; the length of the obtained aggregated signature is less than that of a multi-signature obtained by assembling the plurality of sub-signatures, and the length of the aggregated public key is less than that of a multi-public key obtained by assembling a plurality of public keys; therefore, when the aggregated signature and the aggregated public key are transmitted via a network, the network transmission load is reduced, during storage, the storage space is saved, and during signature verification, the aggregated public key and the aggregated signature are directly used for verifying a message to be signed, thereby greatly reducing the complexity of signature verification.
