Abstract:
A method for guiding traffic at a traffic crossing, comprising the following steps: mounting a dynamic speed limit indication device at a certain distance from a traffic crossing; the dynamic speed limit indication device synchronously obtaining traffic light period information about a traffic light control system of the traffic crossing; and the dynamic speed limit indication device calculating a dynamic indication speed in real time according to the traffic light period information and displaying same. In the method, a speed-limited region is set and a dynamic indication speed is calculated and displayed according to a traffic light period. A vehicle only needs to drive according to a speed indicated by a dynamic speed limit indication device and can arrive at and quickly pass through a traffic crossing at the time of the green light for sure. The whole process includes controlling the speed, driving to the crossing at a uniform speed and accelerating to drive away from the crossing. As parking and waiting are avoided, the average speed for the vehicle to pass through the crossing is greatly improved. Within a limited time of the green light, more vehicles can pass through the traffic crossing, so that the passing efficiency of the whole crossing is effectively improved.
