Abstract:
The heat for heating water is produced by forming a vortex water flow and maintaining a cavitation condition thereof during a resonant amplification of acoustic vibrations in the flow when water having a temperature exceeding 63 °C is supplied to the flow. In a preferred embodiment, the water is heated to a temperature ranging from 63 °C to 70 °C. The water is pre-heated to 63 °C, is preferably by means of the heat obtained by using the same method for circulating the water in a closed circuit without heat extraction. The invention increases effectiveness, e.g. the ratio between the obtained heat energy and electrical or mechanical energy used for circulating water, simplifies the water treatment process of and decreases the danger of irradiation for the personnel.
