Abstract:
Provided are a holding method producing no dust, extremely simple, and used to
convey a glass disk for an information recording medium, and a holder used for
the method. The method holds the circumferential surface (6 (8)) of the glass
disk (1) by using holding pins (24, 28 (32)), in which the circumferential surface
of the glass disk has a certain degree of waviness which does not affect high speed
rotation performance of the glass disk.
