Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for identifying restricted areas, and a robot for implementing the same. A robot for identifying restricted areas, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a sensing module; a map storage unit for storing positions of fixed objects in a space in which the robot travels and positions of restricted areas; a control unit for generating a traveling path for the robot on the basis of data sensed by the sensing module and the positions of the fixed objects and the restricted areas stored in the map storage unit; a moving unit; and a function unit, wherein the control unit controls the moving unit or the function unit of the robot so that the robot performs a preset corresponding motion in the restricted areas disposed on the traveling path of the robot, and wherein the restricted areas are spaces stored in the map storage unit or set by the control unit according to a result sensed by the sensing module.
