Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for identifying a type of material in a target material, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: acquiring measurement data using a portable measuring device (25), this comprising spectral-reflectance-based measurement of the target material, the reflectance being obtained through emission of light rays; measurement filtering to form a successive sequence comprising sub-bands of measured values that represent characteristic transmission signatures of the article; performing processing, by comparing the signatures with models contained in a database, this processing being configured to determine the type of material of the target material.
