Abstract:
A method for image snapshot in video recording, and an electronic device, relating to the technical field of photographing, for use in image snapshot in video recording, and improving the snapshot image quality. The method comprises: in response to a first operation, an electronic device collecting first images and displaying a first interface, the first interface comprising a snapshot shutter and a preview image obtained from the first images; caching in a first cache queue the first images collected by a camera, the first cache queue caching n frames of first images collected by the camera; in response to a second operation of the snapshot shutter, selecting a second image from the n frames of first images according to additional information of the first images, metadata comprising contrast of the first images and an angular speed when the camera collects the first images; and using m frames of first images in the n frames of first images as an input, running a preset RAW domain image processing algorithm to obtain a third image, and coding the third image to generate a snapshot picture, the m frames of first images comprising the second image, and the preset RAW domain image processing algorithm having a function of improving the image quality.
