Abstract:

A method for implementing management by dividing domain in the label switching network includes: one or more OAM domains is designated on the LSP, then the entry node and the exit node of the each OAM domain are determined; the OAM frame within domain which carrying the special identifier and the management information is inserted in the entry node; and the OAM frame within domain is acquired and analysed in the exit node according to the special identifier, and the OAM domain is managed according to the management information of the received OAM frame within domain. Otherwise, the present invention also implements the LSP protection by dividing domain in the label switching network by carrying detection frame such as CV or FFD in the OAM frame in the domain.
