Title:
A METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING NETWORK PROTECTION COMBINING THE NETWORK ELEMENT DOUBLE-ADSCRIPTION AND THE RINGNET PROTECTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/105722
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for implementing the network protection combining the network element double-adscription and the ringnet protection. The network includes a first network element, the element is adscript to a second element and a third element which are in the same ringnet as the first element. The method comprises the steps: the service which is transmitted from the first network element is setup and transmitted on the second network element and the status of the service is detected; and transmit a switch message to the third network element when a occurrence of failure of the service between the first element and the second element is detected, then the third network element setups and transmits the fault service between the first network element and the second network element using the network resource of the ringnet allocated for the fault service by the second network element before the service fails according to the switch message. According to the present invention, a large amount of the network resource of ringnet is saved and the rapid switch of the fault service is implemented.
