Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for improving conductivity and corrosion resistance of a fuel cell bipolar plate carbide coating, comprising sequentially depositing a metal transition layer and a metal carbide coating on the surface of a metal bipolar plate, then etching the coated bipolar plate to change a surface structure and components of the carbide coating, and finally washing and drying to obtain the carbide coating with improved corrosion resistance and conductivity. Compared with the prior art, the present invention achieves coating performance optimization by using an etching technique on the basis that a metal polar plate is plated with a coating, thereby avoiding the coupling effect when adjusting parameters during coating preparation, and thus can be applied to further improve the performance of a fuel cell bipolar plate carbide coating to meet the working requirements of a fuel cell.
