Abstract:
Provided is a method for improving the corona resistance of a polyarylene sulfide resin molded article, with which the corona resistance of a molded article obtained by molding a resin composition including a polyarylene sulfide resin can be improved further, using a silicone polymer. A method for improving the corona resistance of a resin molded article obtained by molding a resin composition that includes a polyarylene sulfide resin, a specific silicone polymer, and a non-electroconductive inorganic filler, said resin molded article having an sea-island structure that includes island parts comprising silicone polymer particles and sea parts comprising the polyarylene sulfide resin, wherein the method for improving the corona resistance of a polyarylene sulfide resin is characterized in that the resin molded article is molded by preparing the resin so that the average value of the wall-to-wall distance of particles that are closest to each silicone polymer particle is 0.25 μm or less.
