Title:
METHOD OF IMPROVING THE CRUSHING STRENGTH AND THE IMPACT RESISTANCE OF UREA, AND UREA COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002020471
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of improving the crushing strength and impact resistance of urea granules by the addition of an additive comprising a polyvinyl compound of the general formula (CHX-CHY)n, where n = 4-10 000, and X and Y independently of one another are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl radical, carboxylic acid radical, amine radical or amide radical. This method is characterized in that it starts with a urea melt.
