Abstract:
A method for improving waterlogging in existing coastal plain areas, comprising: providing dams on mudflats outside some of the existing coastlines of the existing coastal plain areas to form a closed area, the closed area and the dam, a reservoir inlet and a reservoir outlet together forming a coastal point bar waterlogging receiving reservoir; or some of the areas in the closed area being marine reclamation land areas; and before a forecast of heavy rainfall approaching or an onset of continuous rainfall, pre-lowering the water level of the coastal point bar waterlogging receiving reservoir to a planned or designed pre-lowered water level in the waterlogging receiving reservoir, so that the water level of a waterlogging receiving area in the existing coastal plain areas is also pre-lowered, and waterlogging receiving reservoir capacity of the existing coastal plain areas is greatly increased. A water gate is used at the reservoir inlet to prevent the water level of the waterlogging receiving area from being pre-lowered too low or prevent water of the reservoir from flowing backwards to the waterlogging receiving area of the existing coastal plain areas; the reservoir outlet is provided with a drainage sluice and a drainage pumping station at the same time, and different drainage modes are used. The method is suitable for waterlogging control, marine reclamation land, roads and highways and integrated engineering thereof of the existing coastal plain areas.
