Abstract:
A method for improving the wireless performance of a router during access by users with a weak signal, comprising the following steps: when a WiFi router enables OFDMA, wireless users use a channel contention method for channel contention, the channel contention method specifically comprising the following steps: step 1. when wireless users access a WiFi router, the WiFi router detects the signal quality of the wireless users, and determines the signal quality levels of the wireless users according to a negotiated rate between the wireless users and the WiFi router; step 2. the wireless users perform channel contention; step 3. the WiFi router collects channel RU resources obtained by the wireless users and determines, according to the signal quality levels of the wireless users, whether the channel RU resources obtained by the wireless users need to be restricted; and step 4. when the determination result indicates that the channel RU resources obtained by the wireless users need to be restricted, the WiFi router restricts the RU resources of the wireless users in accordance with regulations, and reallocates the excess RU resources of the wireless users.
