Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for increasing both the light efficiency and stability of a light storage ceramic, the method involving first adding an ethanol solution of calcium to a titanium precursor solution, adding oleic acid as a dispersing agent, and subsequently adding pure water and a light storage powder to obtain a light storage powder-calcium titanate gel; drying, comminuting and sieving same to obtain a dry gel powder; placing a glass matrix raw material, the sieved dry gel powder and a dispersing agent into a pelletizer, adding pure water, and then subjecting same to direct mechanical stirring and pelleting; after 4-8 hours of stirring, adding a plasticizer, and continuing to stir same for 1-3 hours to obtain a blend; and tableting same, drying same and firing same in a furnace. By means of the artificial and controllable introduction of calcium titanate as a second phase to coat the light storage powder and form a "core-shell structure", the light storage powder is protected from hydrolysis or high-temperature oxidation. As a plating layer for the light storage powder, calcium titanate can further change the propagation path of fluorescence inside the ceramic and increase the light absorption and fluorescence output efficiency. In addition, the light storage powder with a surface of calcium titanate improves the plasticity of a ceramic paste, thereby facilitating ceramic molding.
