Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for increasing a chlorhydrin concentration in a chlorohydrination reaction by means of a cyclic reaction, comprising the following steps: 1) chlorohydrination reaction: adding chlorine, a C2-C3 olefin or a C2-C3 halogenated olefin, and water to a chlorohydrination reactor and reacting same; 2) neutralization reaction: introducing the chlorhydrin solution generated in step 1 into a neutralization tower and subjecting same to a neutralization reaction with alkaline substances in the neutralization tower, so as to reduce the concentration of the hydrochloric acid generated in step 1 in the chlorhydrin solution to about 0.01%; 3) post-treating the chlorhydrin solution subjected to the neutralization reaction, then injecting same into the chlorohydrination reactor again, adding a C2-C3 olefin or a C2-C3 halogenated olefin and chlorine, and cyclically performing the chlorohydrination reaction and the neutralization reaction. Not only can the present invention greatly increase the concentration of the chlorhydrin, but it can also reduce the amounts of the raw materials consumed, such as chlorine, olefins or halogenated olefins.
