Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method that comprises sealing the wells with packers (15) and introducing fibre-optic cables (4) into said wells. The cables are connected to high-power lasers (1) which are located on the surface and transmit radiation propagating along the fibre-optic cables (1) into predetermined sections of the wells drilled into the bed. At given sections of the oil- and gas-bearing bed, windows or perforations (13) are formed in the casing material using the laser radiation emitted by working heads (6), wherein said perforations are formed on horizontal, vertical or other inclined planes. The bed can thus be drilled on some portions by displacing the working heads (6) along the wells and in given directions using winches (2). The high-power laser radiation is sent onto the oil- and gas-bearing bed as well as on the rock surrounding it through the windows or perforations (13) formed in the casing. Under the action of the laser radiation, the temperature of the bed and the rock rapidly increases, the solid and liquid phases are vaporised and the pressure in the bed rapidly increases, which results in a strongly enhanced crude-oil output from the wells drilled in the bed.
