Abstract:
The present application provides a method for indicating a precoding matrix, a method for determining a precoding matrix, and a communication device. The method comprises: a terminal device generates first indication information and sends same to a network device, the first indication information being used for indicating space domain vectors, frequency domain vectors, and weighting coefficients for constructing a precoding matrix. When the value Z of a rank is greater than 2, Z transport layers comprise at least one first-type transport layer, and the maximum number of frequency domain vectors reported for the first-type transport layer meets (I). Compared with the maximum number (II) of frequency domain vectors reported for each transport layer defined when the rank is 1 or 2, the maximum number of frequency domain vectors reported can be reduced, and the maximum number of weighting coefficients reported is further reduced. Therefore, the present application facilitates reducing the feedback overhead.
