Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for indirectly applying printing liquid (45) to a printing substrate (43), wherein an intermediate support (2), preferably a circulating belt, is provided, a liquid conditioning agent (47) comprising a first substance is provided and is applied to the intermediate support (2), a printing liquid (45), in particular an inkjet ink, comprising a second substance, is provided and is applied to the conditioning agent on the intermediate support (2), the printing liquid (45) is present in the form of drops or a layer substantially on the conditioning agent and the drops or the layer form on the underside thereof a contact area with the conditioning agent, the printing liquid (45) is heated, preferably by means of a drier (19 and/or 23), and the printing liquid is transferred from the intermediate support (2) to the printing substrate (43).
