Abstract:
Provided is a corrosion inhibition method, whereby, in a closed-circulation-type cooling water system equipped with a facility made from an iron material and a copper material, it becomes possible to achieve an excellent corrosion-inhibiting effect on both of the materials.
In a closed-circulation-type cooling water system equipped with a facility made from an iron material and a copper material, at least one component selected from nitrous acid, molybdic acid, tungstic acid and alkaline salts thereof is added to the water system, and an alkali metal bicarbonate is also added to the water system so that the pH value of the closed-circulation-type cooling water system can become 7.0 to 9.5.
