Abstract:
The present application relates to a method for inhibiting lithium precipitation of a lithium ion battery, comprising the following steps: a) heating the lithium ion battery to a temperature of 40°C to 80°C; and b) aging the lithium ion battery for 10 hours to 100 hours at the temperature of step a). The method disclosed in the present application can significantly reduce the precipitation and/or growth of lithium dendrites in the lithium ion battery, thereby improving the discharge capacity of the lithium ion battery and improving the safety of the lithium ion battery.
