Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of insect farming including a step of feeding organic waste to insect larvae and a step of killing the insect larvae in order to turn them into a value-added product, characterised in that the killing step is achieved by subjecting the larvae to a gradual pressure increase until a hygienisation step is achieved, in which step the pressure is between 3000 and 7000 bars.
