Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for inspecting damage in a reverse osmosis membrane, the method making it possible to very easily and quickly assess the presence and/or extent of physical damage that has occurred in a membrane surface of a reverse osmosis membrane, and to specify the rate at which the membrane surface is damaged and the cause of the damage with high precision. The present invention provides a method for inspecting damage in a reverse osmosis membrane, the method involving inspecting the presence and/or extent of physical damage in a reverse osmosis membrane from the presence of a stained region that is located at least on the transmission side of a stain membrane, by which stain-containing water being treated is supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane and which is stained.
