Abstract:
Provided is a method for inspecting a fluid heating device (1) provided with: a heater unit (3) which generates heat as a result of being electrified; a heat exchanger main body (2) which transfers the heat generated by the heater unit (3) to a fluid; and an insulating part (7) provided between the heat exchanger main body (2) and the heater unit (3). The method includes: a step in which the heat exchanger main body (2) is controlled to a prescribed temperature; a step in which the heater unit (3) is electrified; and a step in which the temperature of the heater unit (3) and/or the heat exchanger main body (2) after a prescribed time has elapsed since the start of the electrification of the heater unit (3) is measured. The method also includes a step in which it is determined whether the fluid heating device (1) has a prescribed fluid heating performance, on the basis of the measured temperature of the heater unit (3) and/or the heat exchanger main body (2).
