Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an installation for the combined utilisation of energy and the purification of pollutant-laden hot gases (31). According to the invention, the thermal energy contained in the hot gas (31) is used at different temperature levels and at least partially drives a closed cycle, in which a working substance is condensed in a thermal multi-component condenser (1), subsequently superheated in order to produce power and is conducted through an expansion machine (3a, 3b). In parallel with or following said process, at least one partial stream of the working substance flows through at least one thermal transformer (13), in which the waste heat streams of a hot gas condenser (27) that is integrated into the process and/or the waste heat streams of external consumers are absorbed and then delivered at a higher temperature.
