Abstract:
What are described are: a method and an installation for generating electrical energy and for producing hydrogen, ammonia and/or silicon. In order to store excess electrical energy, this excess electrical energy is used for producing hydrogen, ammonia and/or silicon, wherein hydrogen, ammonia or silicon is produced depending on the desired storage time period. Excess energy is thus fed into products with the result that efficient use of the excess energy is made. In addition, an installation for implementing such a method is explained.
