Description:

METHOD AND INTEGRATED SYSTEM OF POWER PARALLEL FEEDING OF ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENTS, ELECRIC APPARATUSES FOR DOMESTIC USE

OR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENTS

The invention refers to a method and an integrated system of power parallel feeding, in a single-phase and/or a three-phase system, of electronic instruments, electric apparatuses for domestic use, industrial equipments etc., that can be used both in houses, offices, commercial areas, and in industrial shops, named SIPRE 01.

Triple-plug type apparatuses and multiple type plug sockets with lengthening pieces are used for users' simultaneous feeding.

Triple-plug type apparatuses have the following disadvantages: they allow the feeding of maximum three apparatuses and there is risk of electric shock.

A lengthener type apparatus with multiple type plug sockets allows the feeding of many apparatuses and they consist of cables that have cases at one end, in which the multiple plug sockets are inserted.

A lengthener type apparatus with multiple type plug sockets is described in Patent US 5.274.527 having the title "Casing with multiple type plug sockets". This one describes a lengthener with multiple type plug sockets provided with a protecting lid.

The ordinary apparatuses have the following disadvantages: risk of electric shock, difficult handling, many cables which, besides the unaesthetic aspect and difficult handling, they may also disturb the passing, or even generate accidents.

The technical problem resoled by this invention consists in the performance of an integrated system and method of power parallel feeding, in a single-phase and/or a three- phase system, of electronic instruments, electric apparatuses for domestic use, industrial equipments etc. one from the other, easy to use and certainly safe.

The method of power parallel feeding, according to the invention, eliminates the disadvantages mentioned above, and consists in feeding of the apparatuses, one from the other, so: the power supply feeds the first apparatus, the first apparatus feeds the second one, the second apparatus feeds the third one, and so on. The advantage of the method consists in the possibility of feeding a user at any time, when there aren't enough pre- installed feeding points nearby and we need to feed simultaneously many apparatuses.

The feeding integrated system that applies the above mentioned method consists of a feeding cable from the fixed electrical plug socket, that will have a coupling (clamp) at the entry point of the feeding apparatus, from which will start two circuits, one will feed the apparatus, the other one returns on the inner side of the casing and gets out through a single-phase and/or a three-phase plug socket, offering the possibility to feed another apparatus. The second circuit is provided with a fusible or automatic plug (according to the apparatus) that is meant to cut off the feeding in case of feeding another user with an installed power greater than the recommended one on the compulsory label.

This label will be placed near the exit plug socket and will contain indications concerning: the total power tolerated by the system and the protection degree. We obtain the following advantages in case of applying this invention:

- the simultaneous feeding of a great number of users placed at distances, in the feeding cables limit;

- maximum security in operation;

- the removal of multiple type plug sockets that are unaesthetic and may generate accidents;

- they are very easy produced and with minimum consumption of materials. Further, we have an example of the invention's performance, regarding Figures 1...4, that represent:

- Fig. 1 , the feeding diagram of many apparatuses, according to the method;

- Fig. 2, sectional view through the feeding integrated system, set on the apparatus' casing;

Fig. 3, top view of the feeding system, according to the invention; Fig. 4, external view of the A apparatus' casing.

The method feeding of power parallel, according to Fig. 1, is used in order to ease the feeding of many electrical apparatuses at the same time, that are located nearby, and consists in feeding an apparatus A from a fixed power supply, feeding a second apparatus B from a plug socket set on apparatus A, feeding a third apparatus C from a plug socket set on the casing of the apparatus B, feeding a fourth apparatus D from a plug socket set on the casing of the apparatus C, and so on.

The integrated system of power parallel feeding, in a single-phase and/or in a three-phase system, of electronic instruments, electric apparatuses for domestic use, industrial equipments etc., according to Figures 2 and 3, consists of an electric cable 1, that connects it to a fixed power supply. This cable is introduced in the casing of an apparatus A, and continued with a coupling (clamp) 2 inside of this, which is located inside the casing using a known system. Two circuits 3 and 4 start from this coupling (clamp) 2, the first 3 feeds further the apparatus A and the second one 4 returns on the inner side of the casing through a terminal, made of a tree-phase or a single-phase plug socket 5, from which the next apparatus B can be fed. A fusible or automatic plug 6 (according to the apparatus) is also provided on the second circuit 4 that is meant to cut off the feeding in case of feeding another user with an installed power greater than the recommended one on the compulsory label 7. The plug socket 5 will be set in the most advantageous location, both for the Manufacturer and for an easy feeding of the next apparatus. The label 7 will be compulsory provided on the exterior side of the casing of the apparatus A. The maximum power that the system can tolerate and other operational indications in a maximum security state, will be specified on this label 7. A window 8 can be provided the apparatus' casing, in front of the fuse 6. The window can be covered by a lid 9, through which we can easily replace or connect the fuse 6.

The entire system can be set inside the apparatus A or B, in most advantageous locations, taking into account both the manufacturer's claims and the possibility of being easy handled by the User.

As a result of the equipment of the apparatus A with the above mentioned system, according to the invention, we can obtain the power feeding of another user B, C or D etc., at any time, when there are no enough fixed pre-installed feeding points nearby and we don't want to stop feeding a user in order to start feeding another one.

The users such as electronic apparatuses, TV sets, videos, DVDs, tuner, phone, are very eloquent examples in this case, as they need 4-5 feeding points. Considering the fact that every apparatus has a power lower than 150 W, it means that they can be fed from one to another. The whole cumulated power for the most stressed cable being of 700-800 W, means that it is lower than the power that a feeding copper cable 2x1 or 3x1, which are generally provided for this type of apparatuses, can tolerate.

The same thing is valid for computers and accessories - monitor, central unit, printer, scanner etc., - whose total power is under 1000 W, the feeding cables tolerating the cumulated power, no matter what the feeding order of the users is.
