Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for introducing florigen to the cells of the shoot apex tissue of a plant using a membrane transport peptide. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for introducing florigen to the cells of the shoot apex tissue of a plant, and the method comprises a step for bringing the shoot apex tissue of a plant into contact with a florigen introducing solution in which the florigen and membrane transport peptide are present in the same one solvent. The invention further relates to an agent which comprises florigen and a membrane transport peptide and that is for introducing florigen to the cells of the shoot apex tissue of a plant, and a kit for introducing florigen to the cells of the shoot apex tissue of a plant.
