Abstract:
The present invention provides: a method for introducing a protein into fungal cells, comprising introducing a target protein into fungal protoplast by means of electroporation in a buffer that contains the target protein and a tonicity adjustor such as mannitol; a method for producing fungus incorporating a protein, comprising introducing a target protein into fungal protoplast by means of electroporation in a buffer that contains the target protein and a tonicity adjustor such as mannitol, and then regenerating the protoplast in fungus; and a method for preparing genome-edited fungus, comprising introducing a protein used for genome editing into fungal protoplast by means of electroporation in a buffer that contains the protein and a tonicity adjustor such as mannitol, and then regenerating the protoplast in fungus.
