Abstract:

In the present invention, when overlapping and joining together the ends of a rubber member, it becomes possible to join at a smaller joining area than conventionally used by increasing the joining area. The present invention is a joining device for overlapping one end (71) of a rubber member (tire constituent member) (70) on top and the other end (72) on the bottom, and then joining the ends of the rubber member (70). A pressing roller (disk-shaped roller) (45) that rotates around an inclined axis is rolled while pressed against the overlapped top-side end (71) of the rubber member (70), and the top-side end (71) is stretched by the shearing force generated at such time, increasing the joining area between both ends (71, 72).
