Abstract:
According to the present invention, a bumper system 1 comprises: a rear wall 12 of a bumper beam 10 provided with hole parts 16, 17; and a bumper stay 20 which has pipe-like parts 21, 22 extending in the longitudinal direction of the bumper stay, the pipe-like parts 21, 22 being inserted into the hole parts 16, 17 and expanded and joined to the hole parts 16, 17. The bumper stay 20 has, in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, an extraction inhibiting part 24 that protrudes from the outer surfaces of the pipe-like parts 21, 22. The extraction inhibiting part 24 makes contact with the rear wall 12 of the bumper beam 10 in a direction A1 in which the bumper stay 20 is extracted from the hole parts 16, 17.
