Abstract:

A method for joining members, whereby a cylindrical first member 1 and a plate-shaped second member 2 that has an opening 3 are joined. This method includes: a step in which the first member 1 is inserted into the opening 3 in the second member 2; a step in which an elastic body is inserted inside the first member 1; a step in which the outer diameter side of the first member 1 is guided by a pair of outer molds 5, respectively, on both sides of the second member 2; and a step in which the elastic body inside the first member 1 is compressed by a pair of inner molds 4. The inner molds 4 compress the elastic body within the range in which the outer molds 5 are positioned.
