Abstract:
In this method for joining metal materials, a member (13) made from copper or from a copper alloy is joined to a steel product (11) by a low-melting-point metal joining material (15). Joining strength is improved and vibration and bending are mitigated by interposing a metal mesh sheet joining material (10) between a joint section (A) of the steel product (11) and a joint section (B) of a member (12). The metal mesh sheet joining material (10) comprises the low-melting-point metal joining material (15) and a metal mesh sheet (16). The metal mesh sheet (16) comprises copper or a copper alloy and has a wire diameter of 0.1-0.3 mm and a porosity in the range of 20-50%.
