Title:
METHOD OF KEEPING THE FRESHNESS OF ANIMAL OR PLANT BY PROCESSING THE SAME WITH THE USE OF COOKED RICE HAVING BEEN MIXED WITH COLD OR HOT WATER AND MILLED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/114631
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] There has been no method for keeping the freshness of a harvested
plant such as a vegetable, a fruit or a flower or a slaughtered animal at ordinary
temperatures. To store the plant or animal, it is therefore required to remove
moisture therefrom or keep it at a low temperature. However, these methods are
far from the natural state. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Cold or hot water is
added to cooked rice and then the resultant mixture is milled. The plant or animal
as described above is coated with the milled product or dipped therein. Thus,
enzymatic actions are inhibited and the transpiration of moisture is prevented.
As a result, the plant or animal can be successfully kept fresh over about several
months to about 2 years.
