Abstract:
Provided are a method for knitting a neck line, in which a tubular fabric having a deep neck line can be knitted by a simple knitting process, and a tubular fabric having a neck line knitted by applying the method. Turning course knitting is performed in a state where the left front body (52) and the right front body (51) divided by the boundary (CL) are connected at the back body. During the process, a stitch line (knitting needles (15, 13, 11, 9)) of the front body (51) formed in (FB) by forward knitting of turning course knitting is moved in the direction receding from the boundary (CL), and a stitch (knitting needle (9)) farthest from the boundary (CL) in these stitch lines is lapped over a stitch (knitting needle (7)) closest to the boundary (CL) in the stitch line which has not been moved. Furthermore, a yarn is fed to an empty needle (knitting needle (15)) formed by moving a stitch line and a cross stitch constituting the neck line is formed. The cross stitch is engaged with the knitting needle of the (FB) until formation of the neck line is finished.
