Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communication encoding techniques. Disclosed is a method for layered encoding under high dimensional modulation. The method comprises the following steps: step S1, a serial data input end inputting a serial data stream to a serial-to-parallel converter; step S2, inputting the data stream processed by the serial-to-parallel converter to encoders at multiple layers; step S3, correlating the encoders at the respective layers, and transferring information under high dimensional modulation; step S4, after the data stream has been processed by the encoders at the respective layers, inputting same to a modulator, and performing modulation and mapping processing; and step S5, outputting the resulting data stream from an output end of the modulator. In the present invention, encoders at different layers are correlated with one another, and the encoder at each layer, while encoding data, transfers the data encoded at said layer to the encoder at a higher layer for protection until the data reaches the highest layer, thereby enhancing the encoding speed, error correction capability and data processing performance of encoders at multiple layer.
