Abstract:
A method for leaching copper from a copper sulfide ore is provided in which the operation cost and the environmental burden are satisfactorily reduced.
The method for leaching copper from a copper sulfide ore comprises supplying a first leaching liquid, which contains iron(III) ions, and a second leaching liquid, which contains iodide ions, through respective different passages to a heap of ores including a copper sulfide ore to thereby leach copper by a heap leaching method.
