Abstract:
In this method for learning travel characteristics and this travel assistance device, the continuity of driving characteristics of a vehicle capable of switching between manual driving by a driver and automatic driving is determined on the basis of travel data during manual driving by the driver, and a continuity determination result is used to set the start time and the end time of data to be learned related to the driving characteristics among the travel data.
