Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for machining a casing (1) of an aircraft turboshaft engine, the casing (1) comprising an upstream edge and a downstream edge, wherein the method comprises the following steps: a step of positioning the casing (1) in a chassis; a step of rotating the chassis at a rotational milling speed; a step of milling the downstream edge and/or upstream edge of the casing (1) by means of a milling device, so as to correct the axial length of the casing (1); and a step of deburring said casing edge (1) so as to remove at least one burr formed in the vicinity of said edge as a result of the milling step, the milling device comprising a scraper tool which turn-machines the burr as the casing is rotated (1).
