Abstract:
Disclosed are a diamond, a pavilion structure of the diamond, and a method for machining a pavilion of the diamond. A pavilion (3) has a three-layered lower facet structure.A crown (1) has 49 facets and the pavilion (3) has 48 facets, such that the surface of the round diamond forms 97 cut faces, thereby making the optical path transmitted and refracted many times by the diamond so as to increase the sparkling of the diamond, and at the same time, by means of fitting together a second layer of lower facets and a third layer of lower facets, the tip of the pavilion (3) of the diamond forms a twin heart edge.
