Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003026227
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A method for maintaining and/or qualitatively improving a communication path in a relay system, in particular in a radio network, where information may be transmitted between two devices (Ao, An) by means of one or more further devices (A1, ..., An-1) along the communication path thus formed and at least one part path of the communication path may be replaced by a substitute path, depending on at least one given parameter, or at least temporarily simultaneously employed with a substitute path, permits the maintenance of a service quality at a high level even with transmission conditions changing over time.
