A method of making an inner bladder (1) for sports ball includes the following steps: providing an inflated inner bladder (1), applying an adhesive (20) to a fiber, winding the fiber on the inner bladder (1) to form a first reinforcing layer (2), and providing a second reinforcing layer (4) on the said first reinforcing layer (2).
